This artistic research project prologs the experiments started with the skiagraphies. The writing of the rings through the projection of their shadows is an attempt of metal’s graphic construction and projection in which the material disappears becoming image.
At the same time, the construction of a bicycle whose wheels have been replaced by strings, saw the birth of the ciclophone, a kind of “marvelous sound machine” with non-standard tuning.
The video – created by assembling a sequence of photographs and the sound recording of the ciclophone – shows the pataphysical interrelationships between a dattiliographic combinatorics and a ciclophonic performance.
